wow. i misread the title and thought it said "at least i have a shingle." still a good title tho! ha. i dig this pic. plus, props to getting pictures of mennonites b/c i believe they are the ones that don't like to get pictures made b/c individuals aren't supposed to "bring attention" to themselves...
Actually I believe it is the Amish. Having a photo taken of you falls under Vanity, which is a sin.
I have photographed Mennonites, and they are pretty cool. I got to hang out in their school for a while, with permission of course.
Maybe it was a safety issue or a different level of Mennonite. (there are more conservative ones and more liberal ones, believe it or not.)
Breee,---no,not Amish. these are some suoer hard-core mennonites that do no like having their photo taken because of vanity. There's a huge group of them in Allen County. I ran into them several times.
